Scientist
This person is a member of the Research and Process Development team of Cedarburg Pharmaceuticals, Inc. It is the responsibility of Research and Process Development to research chemical synthesis for new active pharmaceuticals ingredients and generic pharmaceuticals and develop processes that can be carried out safely and efficiently in the kilo lab or pilot plant. All laboratory synthesis must be developed in accordance with cGMP procedures and Cedarburg Pharmaceutical, Inc. Standard Operating Procedures.
This position requires a M.S. (minimum 10 years experience) or Ph.D. degree (5 years experience) in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Chemist / Operator
This position is responsible for the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) in accordance with cGMP and Cedarburg Pharmaceuticals Standard Operating Procedures. The preferred candidate will have a bachelor's degree in chemistry or related discipline and experience working in a chemical laboratory, pilot plant or production environment. Experience working with batch chemical reactors or chemical glassware in a GMP environment is a plus. Second shift may be required. This position reports to the Production Manager.
